Dark Water Rebellion formed in swampy South Florida in January of 2015 and quickly took to the road, completing a self-managed tour in their vintage bus conversion, logging over 250+ shows in their first year.  Their debut album was tracked on the road, from their bus they called home, and released in April 2017.

DWR's southern gothic, swamp grunge sound was captured by Vuture Studios in Cleveland, OH for their sophomore album "MACABRE" released on 4/20/19, followed by the release of the music video for single "Chamensea" in the fall of 2019.

DWR moved to London, UK at the end of 2020, and lie in wait to tour their new home and across Europe.

"Local rockers Dark Water Rebellion have just announced that they’ll release their second full-length, Macabre, across all digital platforms on Saturday. Engineered by William DeMarco of Vuture Studios, a studio located in the Superior Sounds complex, the album features guests such as Mario Carmona (DeepDrain), Jessica Murr (Bloodshot216), Jessica Nemeth (the Rubicons) and Chris Jacobs."

- Jeff Niesel, Cleveland Scene Magazine

"They self-proclaim their musical style as Southern Gothic Swamp Rock. That description is spot on. The lo-fi sound they produce is dirty and greasy. With their gritty swagger keeping the hips moving and heads bobbing, they played their twenty-five-minute set. The simplistic and effective drums beats of Danielle accompanied by Brent’s distorted slide guitar created an awesome layer of instrumentation giving Brent’s gravelly vocals the perfect platform to shine."

- Allen Heimberger, Splice Magazine

"...The deeper they got into the set, the deeper the swamp of their sound became, infused with the dark voodoo of New Orleans, the snake-handling fervour of Appalachia, Gothic for want of a better word."
